The results are in from my August 2012 Bugaboos Landscape Photography Workshop and Wanda Watts from Peace River, Alberta took home the grand prize (each workshop features a competition for the best overall image, along with best trophy image, best intimate details image, and best image that displays a contrast between opposites) this year with her gorgeous image of the contrast between a lingering, late summer snowpatch and a series of looming storm clouds.
You can view all of the results from the workshop in the workshop's online photo gallery.
And as I had previously announced a month ago, I'm excited to once again be offering a nature photography workshop in the Bugaboos in 2013 with Canadian Mountain Holidays. This is an excellent workshop for beginner and intermediate level nature photographers (and you get to whiz about in a helicopter, too!). Both 2011 and 2012 sold out, so reserve your spot early.

I'm off to Jasper now for my five-day wildlife photography workshop, so wish us luck!
